Mexican Street Food
Today I featured recipes from Central Mexico that are commonly served as street food, but some young Mexican immigrants in Vancouver get together every few weeks to make the food that they miss from their homeland. Thanks to Nathan Fong www.fongonfood.com for developing the following recipes to make them user-friendly for Canadian cooks. In Vancouver, you can find many of the necessary ingredients along Commercial Drive.

Food In Flight
Today I discussed the alternatives to buying your meals on board Air Canada flights within North America. There are many options available right at the airport in Vancouver. For a list of food service establishments, most of which package food to go on board, visit the YVR website.
I also spoke about Lock&Lock airtight containers. My wife introduced me to these storage containers and they really are the best I've ever used. They are made in Korea, and we have purchased them at Home Hardware and Canadian Tire stores.
