EAT Vancouver
This week I offered a preview of the EAT Vancouver show coming up April 22-24th. For more info on the show click here: www.eat-vancouver.com
One of the companies attending this year's show is Asian Family Foods, a division of Le Kiu Importing, founded in Vancouver in 1946.
The recipes I prepared for the show are available on their website. Look for Ginger-Miso Noodle Salad, Thai Sweet Barbecue with Sweet Chili Sauce and Easy Grilled Satay.

The Edith Adams Omnibus
The Edith Adams Omnibus is a collection of recipes and tips collected from the Food Pages of the Vancouver Sun. Edith was fictional, but doled out advice from 1924 to 1999. The recipes have been modernized to a certain extent by Canadian culinary historian Elizabeth Driver. The Edith Adams Omnibus is published by Whitecap Books at $24.95, but you can get it for less by clicking on the cover and ordering it from amazon.ca.
